I'm sorry I do not have photos of yesterday or today! I just couldn't manage sneaking away from our room to snap a few photos. However, I surely hope your children will share with you all the wonderful fun we have had these past two days.
The generous kindness that was expressed this week has been wonderful. Thank you for thinking of me and the class. Your children will be coming home with some special things today to show their kindness (in coupons of service), sharing time with others (in dry cookie mix and homemade apron), and the share their talent (in a homemade clay project completed in art).
Happy Birthday, Markus, however, he was home ill today.
We gave lots of hugs to Alexa because she will be moving to a new state over the break. We will be welcoming a new friend, Benny, when we return in January.
While off school, please take time to listen to your child read aloud, have them visit Raz-Kids, Dreambox, and MobyMax. We will have a short three day week upon our return. But do watch for us to jump right back into routine. January and February are amazing learning months in second grade.
I wish you all a wonderful, joyous, safe break. I will be enjoying the time with my family in Florida.
See you all in 2018!
