I apologize for not passing out the skating reminder stickers last night. Once I realized, just a few in SACC got them and one student who thought they were going, I sent the rest with her. However, she was not able to attend, so the stickers were left at her house. I do try to pass them out, sorry about that from yesterday!
I am so proud of the children and their success in showing growth in mathematics for the NWEA assessment. Once we take the reading part (next week Thursday), I will send all the results home for you.
We are nearing the end of the second marking period. These past eight weeks have shown growth in writing, reading, and spelling skills. Along with their ability to problem solve, do some graphing, and apply mathematics in the real world through money, time, geometry, and measurement. If you feel you would like a conference, please send me an email and I'm happy to schedule some time together to talk about the progress your child is making thus far. I'd like requests sent to my by next Wednesday, January 16th. Thank you.
I want to give some "SHOUT OUT" recognition to Kaitlyn, Jennifer, and Kourtney K. They showed exemplary choices from our Eight Keys of Excellence throughout the school. Way to be an example for others!
Have a wonderful evening!
