Just a quick note about the importance of washing hands. I did post a photo directions up in the classroom at our sink. Hopefully this is a good reminder for the students. I have some hand sanitizers around the room near Kleenex. I cannot emphasis enough how important it is to allow your child to rest and heal when they are ill. As much as it may be difficult to change home schedules, the spreading of germs can be reduced drastically if fever, headaches, chills, coughing, and sneezing are kept at home. Thank you for the help in this health matter.
On some other better notes, we started telling time with paper clocks today. Miss. Newton did a vocabulary lesson with them, practiced skip counting by fives to help build the understanding of the minute hand, and then the children made a paper clock. Watch for those to come home today.
Tomorrow is "Bring a Book From Home" day for March is Reading Month. Please be sure your name is in the book. We also have library and our class library, so we don't want them to get mixed in. Thank you.
Friday is hat day. The children are invited to wear a hat all day! If they have a hat that someone can read, that would be wonderful.
Have a great evening!
