Another great learning day in room 23. We were able to get outside for lunch recess, but not our afternoon. The students had time to play some class games with Miss. Hageman.
We have several children with wiggly teeth! Congratulations to Alexa for losing her tooth today at school.
We started stations this morning. The work time was for 15 minutes. They did very well! I know they will be able to focus for 20 minutes by the end of the week. Hooray!

Your student will be coming home with their picture order form. Please keep it in a safe place until next week, or feel free to fill it out, and send it in early and I will keep it until next week.
Math skills are recognizing odd and even numbers using a ten frame to help partner numbers. This strategy is useful so students can quickly see when doubles or doubles plus one help with math sentences. Tomorrow we will explore how every digit holds value to a number.
Have a great evening!

We had some silly time with our scrap paper today while we worked in our math journal! Check out these picture frames, necklaces, hats, and more!
