This week we spent lots of time reviewing math skills with paper pencil and Kahoot!
I did a quick assessment on paragraph writing after ten weeks of Write and Tells. I know the students are working at home on this skill, however, there are lots of kids that really need to be doing this more independently. They need to understand that paragraphs start with an indent. It must include a topic sentence (I often tell the that is the restating of the question), have three or four clear details to support the topic, and then end with a conclusion (restating the topic often with using feeling words at this beginner level). The focus during this last marking will be writing, writing, and more writing! Thank you for the continued support.
Way to go all of our March Readers! We had almost half the class participate in the reading challenge. I'll look forward to seeing over 200 Morgan students at the baseball game in June.
Tomorrow dismissal is at 11:28.
Enjoy the evening.
