I hope everyone is encouraging hand washing as soon you return home from school. It appears that we have some fevers, vomiting, and flu running through our classroom. I, too, will be giving some extra reminders to wash their hands before lunch, before their snacks, and after using the bathrooms.
Tomorrow is a SKATING NIGHT! 6-8pm at The Rink.
This week marks our half way point between this marking period. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's progress please let me know and we can meet. Remember, PowerSchool is a tool for you to check in to see if there is any missing work.
Tonight is the last opportunity to order from the Scholastic Book Order that went home last week. I will close the order in the morning so we can get the books quickly to set up our next Lunch Bunch Book Club date.
I have asked the students to bring in an empty plastic water bottle. This week we are talking about erosion and how the Earth changes because of it. I'd like to do a science project on Friday with the water bottles. You can send those in any day. Thanks for the support.
March is Reading Month is here! We enjoyed a visit from the Utica Unicorns mascot. Keep reading!
It was fun to celebrate with Ellyana's Flat Stanely. He was able to be in South Carolina for the birth of a new baby girl. Congratulations! We also enjoyed all the surprises that were in the package for the class.
Enjoy the night!
