Good Afternoon!
That really is what I want to tell you, we had a very good afternoon! The students received a compliment from another teacher on making a great behavior choice in the hallway, so we were able to enjoy a class reward. Then, as a school, we introduced a new assembly procedure. The school then had a chance to practice it and they did fantastically! Cha-Ching! Another class reward earned. At this pace, we will be enjoying a reward day very soon!
Thank you for the quick replies for the Reindeer Games/Crafts day. I have all four volunteers covered for the celebration fun and almost all of the students have been able to donate $5 to help with the expenses. I will use some of that for other activities and projects just for our classroom as well. Our VOLUNTEERS FOR THURSDAY are: Mrs. Farmer, Mrs. Leideker, Mrs. Dotter, and Mrs. Skiera.
I think the tooth fairy will not be getting much sleep this week. Take a look at all our toothless second graders just from the past few days!
I will show the class our math test tomorrow and use it as a class review. I do not want anything on this to be a surprise. I just want them to feel comfortable with knowing the information we have been working on. I will plan to give the test on Friday. That will allow us to use the next couple of weeks, plus the week that we return on some measurement and geography fun!
Have a fantastic evening!
